Porsche Service & Diagnostics in
Northern New Jersey

Methodical evaluation. Clear communication. Extensive in‑house capability.

Porsche owners expect precision, transparency, and a shop that understands the engineering logic behind these vehicles — from flat‑six engines to modern turbocharged platforms and advanced electrical systems. At BAAS, every Porsche receives owner‑led oversight, disciplined diagnostics, and the same structured approach used in European dealership and engineering environments, without the volume‑driven pressure.

If your Porsche is beyond its original factory warranty — including those supported by third‑party aftermarket warranties — you’ve just found one of northern NJ’s most equitable and transparent independent European luxury service facilities.

How We Approach Porsche Service.

Porsche vehicles reward careful, evidence‑based service. Our process is built around three principles:
  • Evaluate before replacing — no guesswork, no unnecessary parts.
  • Communicate clearly — what we found, why it matters, and what can wait.
  • Preserve long‑term value — maintaining performance, safety, and reliability over time.
Every repair order generated at BAAS is documented with CARFAX, ensuring your service records are maintained by the 3rd party authority most frequently just to establish trade-in or resale value in the future.

Routine Maintenance for Porsche.

Porsche maintenance intervals vary by model and engine type, and for casually operated vehicles we recommend close adherence to Porsche's standards. We use OEM or OE‑standard parts and only Porsche‑approved lubricants. For owners who prefer it, we offer a strict OEM‑only parts path.
For Porsches with unique needs — from bore‑scoring concerns to spirited driving, autocross, or track use — we help owners select fluids, parts, and service intervals that better protect the engine and support the way the car is actually driven.

For owners focused on long‑term reliability or protecting resale value, we can establish enhanced maintenance standards, with the option for periodic oil and transmission‑fluid analysis. These laboratory reports track actual wear metals and contamination trends, giving you early insight into engine or gearbox health long before symptoms appear.

Common maintenance items include:
  • Engine oil and filter service
  • Brake Maintenance and fluid replacement
  • Spark plugs and ignition components
  • PDK and Tiptronic fluid service
  • PTM (Porsche Traction Management) and differential fluids
  • Cooling system service
  • Cabin and engine air filters
  • Battery testing and replacement

Long‑Term Porsche Ownership Concerns.

Porsche vehicles age exceptionally well when maintained properly. We routinely address the issues that appear as mileage increases:
  • Cooling system leaks (water pumps, thermostats, crossover pipes)
  • Oil leaks (AOS, valve covers, timing covers)
  • PDK service needs and mechatronic concerns
  • Carbon buildup on direct‑injection engines
  • Suspension wear (control arms, bushings, struts)
  • Turbocharger wastegate and boost‑related issues
  • Electrical concerns (door modules, harness wear, intermittent faults)
  • Transfer case wear on certain Cayenne and Macan models
We identify what’s urgent, what’s developing, and what can be monitored.

Advanced Diagnostics & Electrical Expertise.

Modern Porsche systems require structured, methodical testing.
We specialize in:
  • Check‑engine light and emissions diagnostics
  • Electrical system troubleshooting
  • CAN‑bus and module communication faults
  • Sensor and harness issues
  • Charging system and battery management
  • Porsche driver‑assistance systems
  • Intermittent faults that require pattern recognition and deep system knowledge
Our diagnostic approach is built on evidence, not assumptions.

In‑House ADAS Calibration & Wheel Alignment.

Most independent repair shops outsource precision four‑wheel alignments and ADAS calibration because the equipment is expensive and the learning curve is steep. At BAAS, we invested in this capability from day one so these critical services could be performed in‑house, under our own standards, with the same precision and oversight applied to every other aspect of your Porsche’s care.
  • In‑house ADAS calibration (cameras, radar, sensors)
  • Four‑wheel alignment using manufacturer specifications
  • Tire and TPMS stewardship — attention to detail for pressures, fastener torque, and reset procedures
This ensures your Porsche’s safety systems function exactly as intended after suspension work, windshield replacement, or 3rd party collision repair.

Parts Quality & Lubricants.

To ensure the quality of our service, repairs, and vehicle performance is not compromised, we consistently select the best quality parts and fluids for your Porsche.
  • OEM or OE‑standard components
  • Porsche‑approved lubricants
  • Factory‑level filters and fluids
  • OEM‑only options for owners who prefer strict adherence
This ensures reliability, longevity, and predictable performance.

Third‑Party Warranty Support.

For vehicles covered by aftermarket warranties, we handle:
  • Diagnostic documentation
  • Communication with warranty providers
  • Repair authorization
Our goal is to make the process smooth and transparent.

IMS Bearing & Bore Scoring Services.

Certain Porsche engines are known for IMS bearing vulnerability and bore‑scoring risk, and BAAS provides the services needed to manage both responsibly.

For affected models, we perform IMS bearing replacements, and offer bore‑scoring evaluations using commonly recognized visual and acoustic methods. Our goal is simple: give owners clear information, protect the engine, and support long‑term reliability without drama or upselling.

Your Porsche, Our Commitment.
